General main topicThe main topic of the whole project is to develop a series of theoretical, graphical, analytical and computational tools to describe the complex behaviour of networks. For further information about the whole project see also the official homepage: COSIN projectTopics of the group in KarlsruheThe main topic is the design and implementation of algorithmic tools to support the analysis of self-organized dynamical networks. One major goal is the development of network visualization methods. We provide a collection of methods and techniques used in network visualization especially for large graphs and networks. As a long-term research project, we develop models and algorithms to integrate and advance the analysis and visualization of social networks. visone is a software tool intended for research and teaching in social network analysis. It is specifically designed to allow experts and novices alike to apply innovative and advanced visual methods with ease and accuracy. Deliverables
